American DJ Damian Higgins, known as Dieselboy, is a pioneering figure in the U.S. drum 'n' bass scene. He was the first American invited to mix a compilation for a British D&B label and the first artist in the genre to chart a single on the Billboard dance chart with "Invid" in 2000. Higgins further solidified his influence by founding Human Imprint in 2002, one of North America's most innovative drum 'n' bass labels.
