Skye Newman (born 9 November 2003) is an English singer-songwriter from South East London. Blending neo-soul, R&B, pop and indie rock, she draws on personal experiences of working-class life and family struggles, influenced by artists including Amy Winehouse and Eminem. Signed to Columbia, her 2025 debut single “Hairdresser” reached No. 15 on the UK chart, followed by “Family Matters” (No. 5); she became the first UK female solo artist in over a decade to place her first two singles in the Top 20 and has earned Brit Award nominations.
