Dopplereffekt is an influential electro and Detroit techno project from Detroit, primarily led by Gerald Donald of Drexciya, which has been active since 1995. The group's early work was famously compiled on the 1999 album *Gesamtkunstwerk*, released by International Deejay Gigolo Records. Continuing to explore scientific themes, Dopplereffekt has since released conceptually driven albums like *Calabi-Yau Space* on other notable labels including Rephlex and Leisure System.
